Exclusive Video: Hazim Nada at AEHRA’s Sedan unveil at Monza

EV Magazine reflects on the unveiling of AEHRA’s Sedan at Milano Monza (MIMO) Motor Show 2023 with an exclusive interview with Founder and CEO Hazim Nada

The birth of the AEHRA Sedan marks a major milestone for Founder and CEO Hazim Nada and his team, but there are also some other notifications to recognise at this stage.

One of them is the appointment of Franco Cimatti as its Chief Engineering Officer, bringing a level of experience that only comes with a veteran from the Italian car scene. The other announcement is a major step in the company’s procurement of power systems for the AEHRA electric vehicles (EVs), which will be supplied by Miba Technologies—a leading component maker and innovator in the automotive space.

This video is a conversation EV Magazine had with Nada following the unveiling of the Sedan model—the second ultra-premium luxury EV model—which again promotes the company’s objective to reshape the traditional car design to support electrical architecture, minimise waste, yet maximise comfort and performance.

Nada also commented on the appointment of the company’s Chief Engineering Officer, who said: “Franco brings onboard, what I call, miniaturisation of all the components. All of the suppliers that we spoke to, their initial proposals of sub-components were very evolved.

“The first thing Franco pointed out was, ‘how do you make those smaller?’”

Onboarding Miba as the AEHRA EV sub-component supplier

Working closely with Miba, AEHRA will deliver some exceptional figures—in terms of performance—that were covered in a recent video of the overall event. Nevertheless, there is more to the partnership than performance, as both companies contribute to a truly revolutionary design that will likely influence further adjustments in the Italian supercar market.

“Italy has always been a beacon of creativity and the automotive industry used to also represent, but we’ve seen that fade away recently—over the past couple of decades—and Italy [has become a follower rather than a leader],” says Nada.

“So, that’s what we’re hoping to bring to the table.”
