Samsara collaborates with Stellantis’ Mobilisights to provide hardware-free access to real-time vehicle data, simplifying fleet management across Europe

Samsara, a leader in connected operations technology, has announced a strategic collaboration with Mobilisights, Stellantis’ Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) company. The partnership will provide businesses across Europe with direct, hardware-free access to connected vehicle telematics, marking a significant step toward smarter fleet management and operational efficiency.

A landmark integration for smarter operations

Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud will integrate seamlessly with Stellantis’ built-in telematics systems, enabling real-time access to critical vehicle data across various brands, including Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Jeep, FIAT, Opel, Peugeot and Vauxhall.

The integration applies to most Stellantis vehicles manufactured after 2024 and select models from 2018 to 2024. It covers EVs and traditional fleets, offering a streamlined, hardware-free approach to vehicle data access.

“By eliminating the need for aftermarket hardware, this integration simplifies vehicle onboarding and ensures tamper-proof telematics access. We’re excited to work with Mobilisights to deliver real-time data insights that empower European businesses to operate more efficiently, safely and sustainably.”

Paul George, Director of OEM at Samsara

Simplifying fleet management

The collaboration enables fleet operators to connect vehicles to Samsara’s platform using only the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The simplified process provides instant access to critical metrics such as GPS location, mileage and fuel levels.

The fully remote onboarding process saves time, reduces costs and enhances operational transparency.

Sebastien Fraysse, VP of EMEA Sales at Mobilisights

Sebastien Fraysse, VP of EMEA Sales at Mobilisights, highlights the transformative potential of the partnership: “By combining Samsara’s expertise in connected operations with data harmonisation powered by Mobilisights’ platform, we enable fleet-based businesses across Europe to access critical and actionable vehicle data seamlessly.

"The collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that drive better customer outcomes.”

Driving efficiency across industries

Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud serves thousands of customers across diverse industries, including transportation, logistics, manufacturing and energy. By integrating Stellantis telematics, Samsara strengthens its ability to support these sectors with actionable insights that improve safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Stellantis holds approximately 17% of the market share as one of Europe's largest automotive manufacturers. The integration aligns with its vision to leverage connected vehicle data for innovative applications, benefiting both businesses and consumers.
