Nissan has taken a significant step in its digital transformation journey by partnering with Anaplan, which provides scenario planning and analysis.

The collaboration will leverage advanced AI and machine learning (ML) technologies to optimise business processes across the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania).

The initiative forms part of Nissan's broader strategy to enhance operational agility and responsiveness in an increasingly competitive and dynamic automotive market.

Digitalising the car flow process

At the heart of Nissan and Anaplan's partnership is the complete digitalisation of Nissan's car flow process, spanning production forecasting, dealer stock management and customer sales.

By June 2025, the initiative aims to significantly improve data accuracy and streamline operations, allowing Nissan to swiftly respond to market demands and consumer needs.

Supporting Nissan's mid and long-term goals

The partnership aligns with Nissan's mid-term strategy, The Arc, which focuses on agility and innovation to navigate today's complex market landscape.

What's more, it supports Ambition 2030, Nissan's longer-term vision for empowering mobility and beyond. The organisation's wider mission is to achieve carbon neutrality across the lifecycle of its products and operations by 2050.

Through initiatives like EV36Zero and electrified model rollouts, Nissan is well-positioned to accelerate the shift toward sustainable and electrified mobility in the AMIEO region and beyond.

"This technology will deepen our understanding of customer preferences and changes in trends, enabling us to meet their needs more swiftly than ever. We are confident it will enhance Nissan's competitiveness in an increasingly uncertain market while supporting global unit sales and profitability."
