Scott Swidersky, CMO & CRO at Blue Whale EV, is up to the challenge of operating more EV stations across Maryland & empowering electric mobility

Blue Whale EV, an end-to-end advisory for the EV charging community, has opened its new headquarters in Hanover, Maryland.

The facility will serve as the company’s headquarters and central hub for sales, storage and services of Electric Vehicle Chargers and EV Charging infrastructure, throughout the Mid-Atlantic and the US.

Maryland embraces electric mobility

At the opening, electric vehicle charging station manufacturers Blink and ChargePoint were there to celebrate the opening with Blue Whale EV. Blink also recently announced an expansion in the same state.

“Blink Charging is proud and excited to be establishing our global headquarters and production facility in Maryland, marking a pivotal moment in our journey toward a greener future,” said Brendan Jones, Blink President and CEO. “We are committed to implementing innovative technology and manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, capability, and output speed while maintaining quality standards. We thank the state of Maryland for welcoming us, and we are excited to be here.”

In addition to this, the state of Maryland has signed up to the Californian 'Advanced Clean Trucks' regulation, which requires manufacturers to steadily increase the sales proportion of electric trucks, vans and pickup trucks, by 2035.

Blue Whale EV's commitment to expanding EV charging infrastructure

Scott Swidersky, CMO & CRO at Blue Whale EV, said that the company was up to the challenge of operating more EV stations.

"As the adoption of EVs continues to skyrocket and move towards 10% of national car sales, the need for EV charging infrastructure should be a significant consideration by most organisations. Blue Whale EV provides our expertise mostly in the Mid-Atlantic markets but can also expand its reach through an extension of key partners. Our new headquarters is geographically strategic, being central to our target markets in terms of proximity.

"Blue Whale EV’s vast experience ensures that our clients are being provided with cutting-edge and innovative EVSE solutions at the best possible rates. As the EV market continues to grow exponentially, we anticipate the complexity of owning and operating more EV stations will be something that the majority of our clients will seek best practices advice, and we're up to the challenge."

“With our years of experience in electrical and mechanical installations for commercial properties, we consistently strive for the highest quality as the installation and maintenance partner of Blue Whale EV,” said Scott Shankweiler, President of Blue Whale EV.
