BP's bp pulse is reshaping sustainable charging networks for a Net Zero Future. Hear more from bp’s Ulrich Angeli at Manufacturing Digital LIVE

BP is reshaping the EV manufacturing landscape with its EV charging business, bp pulse and partnerships with other leaders in the field.

Bp & Tesla are working towards a sustainable future, with sustainable energy

Founded in 1909, British Petroleum began selling gasoline, fuel and other chemicals, before branching out and selling other forms of energy. Bp aims to be a net zero company by 2050 and help the world also reach net zero.

bp recently announced a deal in which bp pulse will acquire Tesla’s fast charging hardware units, for US$100m. This will enable the expansion of the bp pulse public network in the USA.

"At Tesla, we’re driven to enable great charging experiences for all EV owners,” said Rebecca Tinucci, Tesla's Senior Director of Charging Infrastructure. “Selling our fast-charging hardware is a new step for us, and one we’re looking to expand in support of our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. We appreciate bp’s partnership in this area – it’s the right step towards a more sustainable future."
