The Battista Targamerica is Automobili Pininfarina's first client-commissioned, coach-built car, embodying the brand's philosophy of "Dream Cars, Made Real."

Commissioned by a renowned car collector who is already a proud owner of the original Battista, the vehicle represents a collaboration between the client and Automobili Pininfarina's design team. The result is an extensive list of customisations that make the Battista Targamerica a true one-of-a-kind.

Hand-built by artisans in Cambiano, Italy, in collaboration with Pininfarina SpA, this masterpiece ultimately reflects its owner's individuality, taste and life story. After its debut at Monterey, it will join one of the world's most prestigious private collections, showcasing the pinnacle of modern performance and luxury.

A Tribute to Timeless Design

The Battista Targamerica boasts a striking silver and blue colour scheme, with meticulous re-engineering to adapt to its roofless profile, offering a unique open-top driving experience. The design incorporates Automobili Pininfarina's PURA philosophy, a futuristic vision of timeless luxury. As with every Battista, the vehicle is a hand-crafted reflection of its owner's personality.

Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina

Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, emphasises the significance of this creation: "This is a seminal moment, delivering our first coach-built one-off vehicle to a client. Battista Targamerica, like no other vehicle before, demonstrates the infinite possibilities our highly skilled team can design and engineer.

Our world-class artisans have delivered something extraordinary – the first electric open-top hypercar designed specifically to a very exacting client's specification."

Inspired by Automotive Legends

The Battista Targamerica draws inspiration from one of Pininfarina's most iconic designs—the 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider, crafted for Fiat Chairman Gianni Agnelli—the vehicle's silver exterior, accented with blue and black details, its legendary predecessor.

The horizontal lines on the rear luggage opening pay tribute to the Testarossa Spider, merging heritage with cutting-edge design.

Commissioned during the 2023 Monterey Car Week, the Battista Targamerica went from concept to delivery in just one year, a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship of the Cambiano artisans.

The vehicle is infused with personal elements that celebrate the client's life and achievements, such as a custom-built cigar holder and humidor, seamlessly integrated into the cabin.

A Performer

Battista Targamerica by Automobili Pininfarina

Underneath its stunning exterior, the Battista Targamerica shares its electric heart with the Battista, Italy's fastest road-legal car.

Equipped with four independent electric motors and a 120kWh lithium-ion battery, this hypercar delivers a staggering 1,900hp and 2,340Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds and reaches a top speed of over 300km/h.

A collaborative masterpiece

Andrea Crespi, Chief Technical Officer at Automobili Pininfarina

Andrea Crespi, Chief Technical Officer at Automobili Pininfarina, highlights the collaborative effort behind the Targamerica: "This vehicle brings together superior on-road performance and stability and a unique design.

"The commission forced us to challenge ourselves to deliver Battista performance levels without the tensile support of a hard-body roof, pushing the team to deliver a creative, one-of-kind solution to meet our client's needs."

Bespoke luxury

Automobili Pininfarina stands as a beacon of pure Italian luxury, offering bespoke vehicles tailored to the exact preferences of its clients. The Battista Targamerica is not just a car; it's a statement of individuality, a reflection of its owner's personality and a testament to the art of coach-building.

The vehicle represents a landmark in the brand's commitment to creating unique, hand-crafted masterpieces that blend technology, performance and timeless design.
