At Sustainability LIVE: The Net Zero Summit 2026, EVs take centre stage with panels and workshops across charging, fleets, technology and sports

Sustainability LIVE: The Net Zero Summit 2026 includes a dedicated EV LIVE stage, making it one of the most targeted events in the calendar for EV leaders.

The agenda covers charging infrastructure, fleet transition, heavy transport and the long-term direction of net zero automotive policy.

Taking place at the QEII Centre in London on 4-5 March, leaders will leave the event with specific solutions and practical strategies for the future.

Addressing EV challenges

The first session on the EV LIVE stage is titled The Future of Electric Cars in a Net Zero World, featuring Dr Andy Palmer of Electric Vehicles UK and Julia Pallé of Formula E.

Dr Palmer brings extensive experience in automotive manufacturing and electrification strategy.

He worked to launch the Nissan Leaf in 2010 as the company’s Chief Operations Officer and was previously CEO of Aston Martin.

Julia leads sustainability efforts at Formula E, an organisation which has placed decarbonisation at the centre of its sporting model.

The session examines what the path to net zero looks like for passenger vehicles and what the industry must deliver to meet that target.

For executives setting long-term product or investment strategy, this session offers direct insight from two figures operating at the highest level of the sector.

The road to zero emissions

Greg Davis, Chief Growth Officer at GRIDSERVE, will speak on building EV charging infrastructure in a session focused on the practical realities of scaling public charging across the UK.

GRIDSERVE is one of the most active operators in the UK charging market.

Greg will address the infrastructure investment models and grid challenges that determine how fast the network can grow.

The Transitioning to Electric Fleets panel brings together specialists from Visa, BT Group and Enterprise Mobility, three organisations which have made significant commitments to fleet electrification.

Nicholas Mazzei, Vice President of Sustainability at DP World, is set to speak at the summit in 2026.

Each organisation represents a different scale and type of fleet operation, making this session relevant to a wide range of businesses working through their own transition plans.

The EV LIVE stage also includes Heavy Transportation and The Future of Electric HGVs, which tackles one of the most technically and commercially complex areas of the transition.

Decarbonising heavy goods vehicles involves different infrastructure, different duty cycles and different commercial pressures than passenger cars.

Workshops for deeper engagement

Beyond the main stage, the summit includes a workshop titled The Future of Net Zero Automotive, which is designed for attendees seeking a more detailed, interactive discussion of the issues covered across the event.

Workshops at events of this kind allow for focused conversation that a keynote format does not permit.

Attendees can interrogate specific challenges relevant to their own business context.

The workshop sessions mean that attendance at the summit is not limited to passive listening.

Professionals can arrive with specific problems and leave with substantive input.

For businesses at any stage of the net zero journey, this combination of strategic sessions and practical engagement formats makes Sustainability LIVE: The Net Zero Summit 2026 a serious addition to the professional calendar.
