The 2023 Vestel charger line-up is already shaking up the EV charging market — especially powerful fast charger EVC06, says Matthew Lang, MD of Vestel UK

One of Europe's largest electronics and appliance manufacturers, Vestel is best known for being the OEM partner behind one in every three TVs and display screens sold in Europe.

Part of Zorlu Holdings, the company home to Vestel City — Europe’s biggest single-site manufacturing complex — and based in Manisa, Turkey.

The Turkish manufacturing giant has been a European powerhouse behind EV charging design and manufacture since 2018, and is continually working to drive the creation of future-proof technology through Vestel City’s dedicated EV division’s production capacity of over 700,000 EV charging units per year.

On its journey to being a net-zero emission company, Vestel is leveraging its manufacturing expertise, economies of scale and European location to reduce the cost and carbon footprint of EV charging solutions.

Alongside its own brand EV chargers, Vestel continues to manufacture OEM charging solutions for premium electric vehicle brands, service station networks, and electricity suppliers across Europe.

“The 2023 Vestel charger line-up is already shaking up the UK EV charging market,” says Matthew Lang, Managing Director of Vestel UK, a role he has held since 2016. Lang has a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from The University of Cambridge, and previously spent nearly two decades at Sony.

“We now have a range of products that offer full UK regulation compliance, our enviable reputation for engineering and reliability, and unrivalled value thanks to our in-house design and large-scale manufacturing facility. For customers across Europe, we carry stock or build to order in Europe, ensuring the shortest lead times for even the largest EVC installation projects.”

Fast EV charging for urban driving

Vestel is set to shake up the UK commercial EV Charging market with a value-driven urban fast charging station, the EVC06.

The EVC06 tops out the 2023 Vestel range with a high-value, fully featured DC charging station that leverages Vestel’s EVC expertise, reliability, and exceptional economies of scale from its 1.3m square metre manufacturing facility. The result is a robust, easy-to-use, commercial fast charger that delivers outstanding value, reducing the cost of equipping commercial car parks, retail premises and public spaces with EV charging facilities.

The EVC06 facts:

  • 60kW DC fast charger
  • 22KW AC output
  • AC-only vehicles
  • Dual split load charging as standard (or optional third output)
  • Fully featured with local and remote load management
  • 10.4” touchscreen interface
  • RFID
  • Optional credit card module

“Alongside the residential and light commercial EVC04 charger and the small-business focused EVC10 dual-output model, the EVC06 is a powerful fast charger designed to offer fast charging in commercial premises and public spaces,” Lang adds.
