British Gas and Toyota have had a strategic partnership over the past three years to support electric vehicle drivers in the UK. To date, the partnership has resulted in 1,500 Hive EV chargers at the homes of Toyota and Lexus customers.

Limited complimentary offer on new electric cars

From April 3rd until July 1st, 2024, Toyota retail customers ordering a new electric car or van will enjoy a complimentary charging solution. It includes installing the cutting-edge ABB Terra 3 home charger, coupled with dedicated maintenance service by professional British Gas engineers.

To continue supporting UK electric car drivers, customers placing orders after July 1st, 2024, can still benefit from the Toyota HomeCharge for a nominal fee of £1,095 at Toyota centres.

The Toyota HomeCharge represents a significant investment by the automaker in at-home charging solutions. Seamlessly integrated into the MyToyota app, drivers gain unprecedented control over their charging requirements, including personalized scheduling to take advantage of off-peak energy rates.
