AMPECO & Guided Energy: Powering the future of fleet EVs
Ampeco & Guided Energy join forces to deliver an advanced Fleet EV Charging Management solution to address key challenges

AMPECO and Guided Energy have partnered to transform EV fleet management by introducing an advanced Fleet EV Charging Management solution.

The collaboration combines AMPECO's powerful EV charging management platform with Guided Energy's innovative fleet and energy management system, offering a comprehensive solution for optimising EV fleet operations.

Orlin Radev, CEO of AMPECO

Orlin Radev, CEO of AMPECO, commented on the partnership:

"Our partnership with Guided Energy is an important step in our ongoing efforts to support the global transition to electric mobility.

"By integrating our advanced charging management platform with Guided Energy's fleet optimisation expertise, we're creating a comprehensive ecosystem that will help fleet operators embrace electrification with confidence."

The electric fleet challenge

The shift to electric vehicles (EVs) places commercial fleets at the centre of the e-mobility revolution, presenting both opportunities and challenges.

With a global goal to electrify 95 million vehicles by 2030, fleet operators face significant hurdles in adapting their operations to the specific needs of EVs.

Unlike traditional fuel-powered vehicles, EVs introduce complexities such as managing variable charging costs and unpredictable charging times.

Moreover, the influx of data generated by EVs can be overwhelming, often scattered across disconnected systems, making it difficult for fleet managers to make informed decisions. These challenges require operators to rethink how they manage logistics, maintenance, and energy consumption.

Charging infrastructure also presents an issue, as ensuring access to reliable and efficient charging stations is essential for minimising downtime and maximising fleet efficiency.

Fleet operators must carefully plan routes and schedules, determining charging availability and times.

As the industry continues its shift toward sustainability, integrating advanced software platforms and data analytics will be critical to streamline operations, reduce costs, and optimise fleet performance.

Commercial fleets can effectively contribute to the broader global effort to reduce carbon emissions and achieve sustainability goals by addressing these complexities.
