Steffen Vollert

Steffen is a hands-on technical leader in the payments industry who enjoys building game-changing fintechs from scratch.

After joining Adyen in 2014, Steffen quickly worked his way up to Vice President, Global Expansion – where he accelerated the payments platform’s global POS rollout and oversaw local card scheme integrations.

Before co-founding Volt in 2019, Steffen had numerous senior consultancy and advisory roles – including with checkout technology start-up Bolt, fintech ZEN.com and digital marketplace G2A.com.

Today, in his role as Volt’s COO, Steffen drives the development of the company’s ground-breaking open payments platform while building, and managing, its all-star tech team.
