Webfleet: Bridgestone Earns Gold EcoVadis Rating

Webfleet, Bridgestoneâs globally trusted fleet management solution, has earned a prestigious âGoldâ rating from EcoVadis for 2024. The recognition places Webfleet among the top five per cent of the 150,000 companies assessed worldwide by the renowned business sustainability ratings provider. Having received a âBronzeâ rating in 2022 and 2023, Webfleetâs significant improvements in sustainability practices have propelled it to Gold status in just two years.
Commitment to sustainability and innovation
Over 50,000 businesses worldwide rely on Webfleet to enhance fleet efficiency, support drivers, ensure compliance and promote sustainability. For more than 25 years, it has empowered fleet managers with data-driven insights to optimise operations while reducing environmental impact.
The achievement aligns with the companyâs broader contribution to The Bridgestone E8 Commitment, a global corporate pledge defining Bridgestoneâs dedication to sustainability across eight focus areas: energy, ecology, efficiency, extension, economy, emotion, ease and empowerment.
EcoVadis evaluates companies based on sustainability management systems, focusing on transparency and accountability across the value chain. Webfleet has made significant strides in four key assessment areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Compared to its 2023 scorecard, the company achieved double-digit point increases across all four categories, each scoring out of 100.
